Marquette adds Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year

With the potential loss of Dawson Garcia to another program, Marquette received some good news today as Darryl Morsell will transfer from Maryland to play for Shaka Smart this upcoming season. Morsell is a 6'5" senior guard who will add defensive toughness and can help to bring along a youthful backcourt this upcoming season. He will be eligible to play immediately under the new NCAA transfer rules.
